If you are planning a trip to Canada, Montreal is a must do! There are many wonderful things to see and do while you are there. A photographers dream come true; the beautiful island boats scenic views, wonderful food and that it is the home of the famous Notre Dame.
If you are wanting to be active, be sure to try the sky diving simulator. You can go kayaking and when you are sore and done you can take a trip on the Bota Bota…a floating spa! Ahhh!
While you are there you will have to try French cuisine. The primary language in Montreal is French, though you will find people from many many cultures in the city. You can enjoy wine, cheese, fresh fish and more. Don’t miss dessert, the term French Pastry didn’t come around on its own! Enjoy lamb, foi gras and other common foods local to the area.
For those that want to take in the culture and the history of the area there is never a lack of anything to see and to do. You will want to visit Old Montreal. Here you will not only find museums but shops and restaurants. You can see the phenomal architecture and roam around the narrow streets, made out of cobblestone. If you want to visit other areas of the city be sure to take the subway also known as the Metro. It is a good price and will get you almost anywhere you need to get in the city. Be careful in the mornings though as rush hour traffic and be a bear to navigate.
Whatever your interests-the outdoorsman, the foodie or the history buff you will find something that you will enjoy.
